Adam Masters is a fiddler based in the bluegrass mecca of Asheville NC. He grew up playing violin but when he first heard Michael Cleveland play fiddle he has never looked back. He has studied, taught and performed for the last fifteen years with one of the greatest bluegrass fiddlers of all time, Bobby Hicks. Adam has honed his craft by attending multiple jam sessions with great fiddlers and countless gigs as a fiddler for hire. Adam is first and foremost an instructor, breaking down complex concepts into simple and approachable chunks with clear and direct communication. His goal is to teach you to teach yourself how to be a better musician. Always wanting to know why things sounded the way they did, Adam has developed a perfect balance of technique, tunes and theory to help aspiring fiddlers become adept at the language of bluegrass fiddle. Through his instruction, he can help you learn to PLAY ANYTHING YOU HEAR. The path to fiddle mastery is a long one, and Adam is here to help you along.
